Economic development of the oil and gas region on the basis of interregional integration on turnover and financial result of production organizations

Annotation:

The article presents the results of studying problems and prospects for the development of the economy of the oil and gas region on the basis of a higher financial result of production organizations relative to other regions. A cluster analysis of the turnover of the oil and gas regions organizations in the Volga Federal District was carried out by the type of economic activity: extraction and processing of natural resources as well as by type of ownership: the state and municipal, private, mixed Russian, foreign and joint Russian and foreign. Based on it, it was found that the innovative economy development of the oil and gas region has the greatest prospects for improving the inclusive institutional environment for interregional horizontal production integration in the form of financial and industrial groups of mixed ownership. A comprehensive regression analysis of the dynamics of the balanced financial result as well as the dynamics of overdue receivables and payables of organizations in the oil and gas regions over a fifteen-year period was carried out. On the basis of polynomial trend lines, mainly with a high degree of approximation reliability, it was concluded that oil and gas regions in the next five years can be the main driver of innovative economic development of the country. This is caused, first of all, by the improvement of the state functions execution to protect competition and stimulate the activities of small innovative enterprises in the field of oil and natural gas production and processing, as well as the rational use of associated petroleum gas.
