Employees` engagement and loyalty evaluation in oil and gas producing companies which use a rotational method of work

Annotation:

The article considers the increase in the number of oil and gas companies’ personnel which use a rotational method of work in Khanty-Mansi and Yamal-Nenets autonomous regions. Oil fields dynamic development is one of the reasons for such increase. The authors of the article show actuality of personnel recruitment for a rotational method of work and describe natural, production, physiological and social-psychological factors in the Far North regions. Using valid instruments, the expert evaluation of employees’ functional groups was carried out to reveal their satisfaction of work in the company and loyalty to it. The questions from the employees’ engagement questionnaire such as what they evaluate, why they should be asked, what benefits for the business they can guarantee and how an average value of answers can be improved were discussed separately. It is shown that use of engagement and loyalty evaluation instruments of employees, given in the article, can slow down staff turnover and increase labour productivity.
