Annotation:
The relevance of the article is caused by various factors changes affecting the global oil exploration and production market, the emergence of new methods of increasing oil recovery and the necessity of assessing their economic effect. The article considers various methods of increasing oil production, presents the dynamics and forecast of the world market of services for improving oil recovery. The shares of the enhanced oil recovery market segments, such as the thermal method, gas injection, injection of chemical reagents, have been identified. The total market volume of a number of methods for increasing oil recovery is also considered. The volume of these world market segments in value terms and forecasts of their development are given. The geographical segmentation of the global oil recovery enhancement market was carried out, the growth rates and market volumes in terms of value of individual regions and countries of the world were revealed. The materials of the article are of practical value for enterprises operating in the oil industry, public and private investors.
