Development of the gas motor fuel market as the basis for implementation of strategic government programs

Annotation:
The article considers the actual problem of transferring vehicles running on gasoline and diesel fuels to natural gas. The role of the state in the transition of the economy to a model of environmentally sustainable development, which implies a reduction of transport negative impact on the environment and the health of the country's population, is noted. The article describes in detail various aspects of using natural gas motor fuel, including environmental and economic effects, government stimulation incentives and support for the transition to natural gas motor fuel in the Russian Federation. The article presents the main technical-economic characteristics of the gas motor fuel market in the Russian Federation. The options for interaction between the participants of the gas motor fuel market and the federal authorities in the course of carrying out active work on expanding the gas filling infrastructure and the fleet of gas motor transport, improving the financial and legislative conditions for the development of the industry are considered. The conclusion is made about the necessity of close cooperation and partnership of all subjects of the gas engine market.
