Potential of BRICS "green energy" in new geopolitical conditions

Annotation:

The end of the XXth–the beginning of the XXIst centuries is characterized by the fact that the global economy gradually began to move to a new stage of economic and energy development. Western countries, led by the United States of America, in order to avoid the emergence of new competitors in the markets, began to restrict developing countries by denying access to innovative technologies and concluding trade and economic deals with them. Against the background of these measures, the governments of developing countries felt the need to join forces to create healthy competition. Under these conditions, an integration association of Brazil–Russia–India–China and the Republic of South Africa arose. Geopolitical instability, shifting vector in the direction of the Asia-Pacific region, has increased the importance of the integration association. The vector of energy cooperation set in the development program of the integration association is aimed at ensuring energy security through the provision of resources of hydrocarbons and rare earth metals, the implementation of the "green agenda".
