Annotation:
The article studies the possibilities of gasification of the eastern regions of Russia as one of the important directions for the use of gas to meet the country's domestic needs along with gas processing. The proportions of the distribution of natural gas production by the directions of use and types of supplies are considered. It is shown that in Russia there are prospects for increasing the volume of gas processing at the expense of gas from the fields of the Eastern Siberia and the Far East, which contains large concentrations of ethane, propane, butane and helium. The main methods of the regions gasification through the organization of supplies of network gas, LNG, LPG and CNG are presented. Restrictions on the development of gas reserves as well as ways to increase the attractiveness of their development by independent and oil companies in the east of the country for the purposes of gasification of the regions are systematized.
