Annotation:

The global energy transition gives a new impetus to the development of low-carbon technologies, which can include the production of "blue" hydrogen and its derivatives, such as ammonia. It provides an opportunity for natural gas to occupy a prominent place in the global energy balance and extend the "golden age", the onset of which was predicted by the International Energy Agency in 2011. The energy transition itself was a logical continuation of the U.S. shale revolution, which demonstrated the possibilities of technological development rapid acceleration in the energy sector in general and in the raw materials industry in particular. Gas markets were the first to feel the impact of the shale revolution. Gas production in the U.S. increased sharply after extensive reservoirs of tight rock were developed, and as a result, shale gas became the backbone of the American energy industry and ensured the growth of LNG supply in the world markets.
