Annotation:

The article summarizes theoretical aspects in the field of human capital as well as gives examples of using the employees’ knowledge of the companies that enter the fuel and energy complex to increase the competitiveness of the organization in the context of the economy digitalization, post-pandemic period and sanctions pressure. Since the attention to the labor intellectualization has increased in the current economic environment: the process of continuous replenishment of knowledge, the formation and use of intellectual skills and significant experience, there appears an increasing interest in the intellectual capital, an important element of which is human capital. In oil and gas companies, the effective use of personnel knowledge directly depends on their competitiveness and high productivity. In this regard, in the context of the digitalization of labor processes and sanctions pressure, the industry organizations meet the necessity of training and developing highly qualified personnel who would not only increase the financial indicators of the company, but also set the pace of its development.
