Annotation:

The article is devoted to the study of possible options of connecting fields in the south of the Irkutsk region to the "Power of Siberia-1" and the "Power of Siberia-2" gas pipelines in order to maintain a reliable resource base for filling these gas pipelines as well as expanding the areas of gasification of the regions of the Eastern Siberia and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The authors of the article assessed the current costs and capital investments for connecting the Angaro-Lenskoye field according to two options. The most profitable option of transporting gas from the field turned out to be the option of connecting it to the "Power of Siberia-2” gas pipeline currently being designed, which involves the construction of a gas pipeline branch from the Angaro-Lenskoye field to Zhigalovo and that the Kovykta field will be connected to the "Power of Siberia-2" gas pipeline in the city of Sayansk. Profitability of sales (including exports) can make 42 %.
