Annotation:

The use of power plants based on renewable sources as autonomous ones for supplying oil and gas industry facilities with electricity has not yet found mass application due to insufficient experience in the design and operation of consumer electricity and heat supply systems based on these plants. Currently, gas turbine units (GTU) and gas piston units (GPU) are becoming more common for supplying oil and gas industry facilities with electricity as autonomous sources of electrical energy. The presented results of the calculation of technical-economic indicators show that for the energy supply of oil and gas industry facilities, the competitiveness of gas turbine and gas piston plants is comparable. When choosing autonomous sources of electrical energy for supplying oil and gas industry facilities with electricity, it is firstly necessary to take into account the operating conditions of autonomous sources and equipment for which it is planned to supply electricity.
