ESdiGital-transformation of enterprises of oil and gas industry as factor in changing business-models and an instrument for modernizing the economy of modern Russia

Annotation:

The relevance of the research topic is caused by the significance of the results of the oil and gas industry enterprises' activities for the development of the national economy. The article is based on the results of the research, the aim of which was to substantiate the proposals for ESdiGital-transformation of oil and gas industry enterprises as one of the factors of the development of business models and an instrument for modernizing the Russian economy. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were solved: development of a matrix of goals, methods, tasks and solutions for the implementation of the "green" agenda by the industry companies; assessment of the level of ESG-transformation of leading oil and gas companies in Russia; substantiation of proposals for oil and gas business development based on the implementation of the principles of the "green" agenda; assessment of the economic effect from the introduction of a digital twin of an industrial object and substantiation of proposals to improve its efficiency (using the example of the technological pipeline of a compressor station). The assessment of the level of ESG-transformation of companies was carried out according to the authors’ methodology using RAEX Europe ESG rating and generalized Harrington's desirability function. In order to achieve significant results of ESG agenda implementation by the industry companies, the following was proposed: development of a document including a package of preferences for oil and gas companies implementing ESG principles; creation of corporate funds for financing investment and innovation projects and criteria for their selection developed with ESG in mind. In order to increase the efficiency of CD technology use, it is proposed to develop a variant of information transmission channel creation: "Digital model"‒"Sensors of technological pipeline parameters measurement" with the possibility of displaying the information read from sensors on the digital 3D-model in real time mode.
