Annotation:

Oil and gas production technologies have provided a civilizational leap and the colossal, unprecedented power of the world economy and the pace of its development and the population standard of living. But it was the oil and gas industry that found itself in the center of the deepest geopolitical turbulence in different regions of the world in the 20th and 21st centuries and the fiercest struggle for positions in the oil and gas markets. Thus, it was oil and gas that formed the basis of the hitherto existing paradigm of energy security, based on the full satisfaction of the need for hydrocarbon-based energy resources with the availability and constant improvement of the entire complex of necessary technologies. This paradigm, however, contains significant climate risks. Against this background, the formation of a new paradigm of energy security based on the development of clean energy as the main way to preserve the Earth’s climate, but which has no fewer risks than the current paradigm, is gaining momentum. One of the ways to reduce these risks is a well-organized, structured, effective, thoughtful innovation process, the "measure" of which should be the formation of a developed market for the technology and its large-scale market penetration. It's safe to say that everything starts with technologies and ends with the market.
