Annotation:

The main stages of the development of the biotechnology laboratory for oil and gas industry of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas during 2002-2009 are considered. The most important developments of the laboratory in the field of the microbial polysaccharide synthesis and their application in drilling, enhancement of oil recovery, agriculture and ecology, technology of production of biofuels on the basis of bioethanol and biodisel fuel so as micotechnology are presented.
