Annotation:
Hazardous emissions of a gas-turbine unit are compared with those of other heat engines and furnace plants. Measures to reduce carbon and nitrogen oxides concentrations in the gases emitted from a gas-turbine unit are considered. An example of calculating environmental parameters in the process of gas-turbine operation is given. Economic appraisal of upgraded units with respect for hazardous emissions is presented.
