Present conditions of large companies functioning require complex engineering approach to increase the efficiency of industrial processes. System engineering as a comprehensive approach offers adequate methods, though today there are no universal ways of applying its main principles for different types of facilities. Approaches to managing system engineering for specific conditions large-scale oil and gas projects are presented
