Annotation:
The work is devoted to the problems of natural gas fields development in the period of declining production and sidetracking as a perspective decision. A brief overview of the algorithm of selecting wells for sidetracking, choice of the project course of the hole, course of drilling and sidetracked hole design is presented. The technological efficiency of the works in the conditions of a field with declining production is evaluated. The influence of different uncertainty factors on the results of sidetracking is assessed
