Annotation:

The dynamism of the modern society requires that in addition to on-line control of the processes, technical and economic parameters be monitored to make timely decisions in case they deviate from the plan. In these conditions the creation of a new class of information systems -monitoring information and analysis systems (IAS), providing monitoring of the quality of the functioning of technologically dangerous oil and gas facilities is of prime importance. The paper presents a systematic way of constructing an IAS for quality monitoring, including the composition, structure and calculation plan for the process of gas transportation.
