ELIMINATION OF FOAMING OF ALKANOLAMINE ACIDS IN THE PROCESS OF GAS SWEETENING

Annotation:

The possibility to effectively remove the blowing agents from alkanolamine absorption solution by extracting them with poliphenyl ether (PPE). The used extractant is regenerated by mixing it with methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) and the precipitated substances soluble in PPE, but not soluble in the mixture of PPE and the IEC are mechanically removed, with subsequent distillation of IEC from the clarified solution and return of the recovered PPE to the extraction stage. The necessity of including into the scheme of extraction the stages of PPE water wash from alkanolamine solution and subsequent drying of the extractant is substantiated.
