Annotation:

Setting the borders and legal status of Arctic zone of the Russian Federation is the important point of state regulation with regard to these areas. Special status of the area implies creation of the set of legal methods including legislation that provide protection of delicate nature of the Arctic. From the manner in which will be formed the legal regulation, depends as much infrastructural development of the northern regions of the Russian Federation and the effective protection of the Arctic environment.
