Annotation:

Methods and technology for the control and monitoring of the upper part of the geological section and its surface used in the industry allow only to record events that have already occurred and are unable to predict large-scale sinkholes near the pipeline. Thus, the evaluation of the technical condition of the “Chusovoy-Berezniki-Solikamsk” pipeline is largely limited to determining a stress-strain state of the pipe without taking into account the external effects of the soil. One of the feasible solutions to the problem might be to include the radio wave methods, which have been successfully applied at a number of facilities of PJSC “Gazprom”.
