Annotation:

The article provides data on the methods and shelf life of diesel fuel. The physicochemical processes taking place in diesel fuel during storage are described. The kinetics of oxidation of straight-run diesel fuel, with different storage time, molecular oxygen, is given. The change in the physicochemical characteristics of diesel fuel during storage by the height of the filling in the tank is studied. It is shown that on the basis of detailing the mechanism of oxidation of hydrocarbons, it is possible to develop methods for regulating the oxidation regime of diesel fuel, taking into account the fundamental features of the processes in combustion conditions.
