Annotation:

The article is devoted to the issues of evaluating the efficiency of the functioning of complexes (single) gas turbine gas pumping units at compressor stations for the supply of natural gas to the regions of the Russian Federation, which is especially important for comparing various design solutions for the construction (reconstruction) of gas transportation facilities and the selection of equipment for natural gas compression. Based on a systematic approach, an efficiency criterion is developed that takes into account the technical and economic aspects of the natural gas transportation (compression) process. A distinctive feature of the criterion is that it takes into account the influence of the operating conditions and technical condition of gas pumping units on the output characteristics of the compression system. The influence of high air temperature as the main negative factor in the southern regions of the Russian Federation during the summer period of operation is considered on the example of the Kotelnikovskaya compressor station, one of the main compressor stations in the south of Russia. The authors present a well-grounded methodological approach to the use of the proposed efficiency criterion. The article contains calculated ratios reflecting the complexity and universality of the applicability of the efficiency criterion both for a single gas pumping unit and for a complex of units, and is a continuation of the authors' work in the field of studying the efficiency of using gas turbine gas pumping units, taking into account their operating time in conditions of elevated ambient temperatures.
