Annotation:

The article presents the results of studies of the influence of the cross-section of hydraulic nozzles on the efficiency of their work. For comparison, calculations of two types of nozzles are presented – with a round and hexagonal cross-section. The geometric and kinematic characteristics of the jets flowing from the indicated nozzles are subjected to analysis. Also presented are the results of pilot-industrial tests of chisel samples with oblique-toothed armament, in the flushing system of which the proposed hydromonitor nozzles of hexagonal asymmetric cross-section were used. It is shown that the use of hydraulic monitoring nozzles with an internal hexagonal cross-section allows not only to increase the destructive ability of the washing liquid jet, but also to increase its productivity in terms of cleaning the tool and the entire bottom-hole zone as a whole.
