Improving energy efficiency of natural gas transportation under cuurent conditions

Annotation:

The article is devoted to the issues of ensuring the efficiency of the compressor stations of the main gas pipelines during the transportation of natural gas in the conditions of diversification of gas flows via the existing gas transmission system. When operating multi-thread systems in a single hydraulic mode, reducing the cost of natural gas transportation in conditions of underutilization is possible due to the shutdown of compressor stations on linear sections of main gas pipelines, which allows to maintain the design ratio of pressure increase. However, this method is implemented only with a significant difference in the actual and design performance of gas pipelines. By the example of the evaluation of integral indicators of technical condition for the GTK-10-4 fleet, a significant spread of diagnostic characteristics of gas compressor equipment is shown and the dynamics of their changes is analyzed. The expediency of optimizing gas transport modes is shown, taking into account the possibility of changing the range of permissible parameters of compressor equipment, including by installing replaceable flow parts with a reduced compression ratio on operating gas pipelines. The directions of development of the existing methodology in this area are proposed.
