Features of placement and localization of hydrocarbon and copper-crusted deposits within radial-concentric structures of Orenburg region

Annotation:

In 1978 G.P. Popsui-Shapko decoded 1:1 000 000 scale satellite photographs of the Orenburg region and found that its entire territory has a radial-concentric structure associated with the dynamic impact of magmatic masses on the Earth’s crust and testifying to the neotectonic activation of the region. Analysis of geological and geophysical data on hydrocarbon and copper-crusted deposits of the Orenburg region and comparison of the features of their placement and localization within radial-concentric structures showed that the deposits have a lot in common: a complex block structure; confinement to tectonic disturbances and flower structures; hydrothermal-metasomatic changes of the host rocks; confinement to radial-concentric structures; presence of lateral concentric mineral zonalities. It was concluded that they could be united by a common genesis associated, among other things, with modern geodynamic processes in the Earth’s crust. The foci of generation of sulfide mineralization in Orenburg region, as well as geodynamically active foci of hydrocarbon generation, could be located at the intersection of deep radial and concentric faults in tectonically weakened zones.
