On the issue of the efficiency of solid waste disposal

Annotation:
The relevance and importance of the problem of forming an integrated system for the management of solid municipal waste (MSW), preventing the harmful effects of such waste on human health and the environment, involving them in economic turnover as feedstock, materials, products and turning them into secondary resources to manufacture new products and energy is noted in the federal project “Integrated Management System of solid municipal waste”. This is implemented within the framework of the state program of the Russian Federation "Environmental Protection" and the national project “Ecology”. This article discusses some issues of determining the optimal methods of recycling MSW, necessary to improve the environmental friendliness of production as well as conserve resources and reduce costs.
