Annotation:
The paper examines the issues of assessing the radioecological safety of drill cuttings in the process of handling. The conducted research makes it possible to solve the scientific and practical problem of optimizing radioecological research when managing the process of drilling waste management through the development of a new logical and information approach to their processing and interpretation. An example of data processing from experimental studies to determine the radiological properties of drill cuttings depending on the drilling depth is given. The results obtained are analyzed using regression and correlation analysis methods. It is proposed to use the dependencies obtained during such studies as calibration graphs for the preliminary assessment of the radiological characteristics of the waste of similar origin.
