Annotation:

The paper highlights the important ecological problem of the presence of such toxic inorganic elements as iodine and bromine in the reservoir waters of oil and gas fields, which in turn are both valuable chemical raw materials and soil polluting elements during self-flowing wells. Their associated extraction is a solution of this problem and the simultaneous development of hydro-mineral raw materials of oil fields. The paper presents a predictive assessment of groundwater resources in the Tyumen region. The main features of iodine-bromine waters, their component composition are revealed. Foreign trade operations of import-export of iodine in Russia in recent years are considered. An economic calculation was carried out with the main technical-economic indicators of iodine production from groundwater in the Cherkashinsky field of the Tyumen region with an annual production capacity of 100 tons.
