Annotation:
The paper presents the results of the wells sections typification, which opened the sediments of the Late Riphean-Vendian age, carried out on the basis of the method of detailed comparison of wells geological sections together with the results of core studies. 16 wells, drilled in the area under research, the sections of which are most fully characterized, were studied. Five types of a geological section, which are manifested by the completeness of the section or the absence of a number of stratigraphic units, have been revealed.
