Annotation:

The paper highlights one of the areas of recycling highly toxic wastes of the oil and gas industry – acid tars. Possible methods of utilization and liquidation of acidic oily wastes, their advantages and disadvantages are considered. For acid tar samples of Omsk refinery, the phase composition was determined by standard methods application and a neutralizer was chosen. Emulsion of the neutralized acid tar together with dispersion of alkyl acrylates is used to improve rheological properties of road bitumen, various ratios of a modifier – bitumen were considered. Physical-chemical properties of initial and modified bitumen were determined and conclusions were made about the possibility of modifying road bitumen by the above-said composite and about the possibility of using these materials in road construction. A technological scheme for involving an acid tar emulsion together with alkyl acrylate dispersion in the process of road bitumen modification, a logistical justification placement of such production facilities, and its advantages are shown.
