Annotation:

Drill cuttings handling in oil fields are an urgent task, including the substantiation and development of methods for their utilization to obtain soils that are safe for the environment. The content of water-soluble salts in drill cuttings corresponds to the chloride type of salinity, in terms of the degree of salinity - to moderately saline. The oil products concentration was at the level of 1100 mg/kg. The particles content in terms of particle size distribution of less than 0.05 mm in the drill cuttings made more than 87 %, thus indicating the impossibility of using it as a soil material for land reclamation. The research of reclamation additives use as active components iscaused by their relatively low cost and the presence of active centers that facilitate the utilization of drill cuttings. Based on the performed studies, it was revealed, that when gypsum and phosphoric gypsum (15 and 20 % be volume fraction) are introduced into the drill cuttings, the obtained soil samples have physicochemical properties corresponding to the criteria, allowing them to be used for land reclamation.
