Annotation:

An important place at the present stage of development of the oil and gas complex is given to the development of oil and gas fields on the shelf of marine areas, which is accompanied by an increase in the anthropogenic impact on the natural components of the environment. First of all, this applies to emergencies that occur at oil and gas production and transportation facilities. Reduction of economic and environmental losses when they occur implies the improvement of systems for assessing the risk of accidents. The solution of this problem involves the a priori development of situational models of the state of the water areas of interest under the normal modes of operation of the object and operational monitoring observations in case of emergencies. The article presents methods for developing a geo-information environment for offshore field development projects intended for the a priori development of oil spill response plans, as well as systems for the operational interpretation of monitoring observations of spills oil based on Earth remote sensing systems in case of emergencies. Examples of practical approbation of these methods are shown.
