Application of sociometric methods to ensure labor safety at gas trunk transport enterprises

Annotation:

A comparative analysis of accident and industrial injury data at main pipeline transport and gas storage facilities provided by the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostechnadzor) and member companies of the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) revealed the root causes of accidents associated with inadequate risk assessment, lack of leadership in safety issues, distraction, inattention and the presence of stressful situations during production activities. These reasons are due, among other things, to the lack of communicative compatibility of employees working in one shift. Based on this, the articler proposes a new method of ensuring labor safety at one of the gas transportation enterprises, which allows optimally completion of shifts using the procedure of sociometric research and assessment of personal qualities of employees.
