Annotation:

The article studies the regularities of surface-active and ecotoxicological properties of oleic acid aminoamides. The results of the calculations of the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance, the octanol: water distribution coefficient the degree of biodegradability of the products of the interaction of oleic acid with polyethylene polyamines with the number of amino-groups from 2 to 4 are given. It has been shown that in the range of hydrophilic-lipophilic balance values from 3 to 6 (inverse emulsion emulsifiers), mono-substituted aminoamides of oleic acid based on diethylenetriamine are less toxic and more biodegradable. Hydrophobizing and emulsifying properties of the products of oleic acid amidation by diethylenetriamine are experimentally confirmed.
