Annotation:

An auxiliary device – a carrier of diagnostic tools for external inspection and maintenance of technological pipelines, diagnostic and other operations (cleaning of walls, application of emulsions, etc.) without the need to stop the technological process and subsequent preparatory activities has been developed. It is established that the majority of operations performed on external surfaces of pipelines are performed only in places accessible for service personnel. In many respects it is caused by specifics of objects technological lines (sections with the limited access, located at height, etc.) and measures envisaging in-line operations make it necessary to carry out preparatory procedures (drainage, depressurization, etc.). The developed auxiliary device will allow expanding the technical possibility of technological pipelines external maintenance irrespective of their equipment, installation and geometry, which will promote industrial and ecological safety, as well as prolongation of pipelines service life-time.
