Energy problems associated with the climate agenda and political risks significantly affect the state of the economy of energy producers. This situation has an impact on ensuring industrial safety and the state of the environment in the territories where oil and gas facilities are located, which requires the use of operational monitoring systems. The aim of the work is to increase the reliability of the interpretation of monitoring observations of the state of the oil and gas basin of Maracaibo (Venezuela) by developing a geo-information environment for standards of sources of hazardous natural and man-caused processes. Their presence makes it possible to localize the zones of aerospace monitoring observations in the studied territories and to carry out the transition from visual to automated and automatic interpretation modes. The main attention in the work is paid to the search for zones of increased geodynamic activity, areas of oil shows caused by natural and technogenic sources. The results of practical testing of the proposed search methods based on geoinformation reconstruction of models of sources of hazardous natural and technogenic processes are presented.
