Annotation:

The article discusses the field research results of field studies of the effect of compressor station operating modes on acoustic noise in process pipelines of centrifugal compressors. The purpose of the research was to assess the required acoustic characteristics of noise-insulating casings of technological pipelines that provide conditions for protecting compressor station personnel from acoustic noise in accordance with SanPiN 1.2.3685-21. The influence of sequential (paired) and full-pressure modes of centrifugal compressors operation as well as the rotation speed of the compressor rotor (supercharger) on the acoustic noise of technological pipelines is considered. It is confirmed that the acoustic noise in the process pipelines of centrifugal superchargers of compressor stations is mainly a consequence of shell-like near-resonant vibration of the pipe surface in the frequency field of the gas flow "blade" fluctuations.
