Annotation:

Noise is one of the main harmful factors adversely affecting the employees of gas transportation enterprises with a high probability of causing harm to health. The possible methods of noise reduction at compressor stations (CS) near centrifugal compressors pipelines by acting directly on the sound source are considered. The connection of noise from pipelines with the vibration of the pipe as a shell and the gas-dynamic characteristics of gas transported by centrifugal superchargers in the operating modes of compressor stations of main gas pipelines was analyzed. The frequency characteristics of disturbances from the pulsating flow of transported natural gas, the natural frequencies of shell vibration forms of technological pipelines of some types of centrifugal compressors operated at compressor stations of the Unified Gas Supply System of PJSC “Gazprom” are considered. The possibility of noise reduction in pipelines of centrifugal compressors due to detuning from resonant conditions of pipe surface vibrations is assessed.
