Annotation:

The study of the component composition of formation waters and process fluids allows solving a number of production problems that arise during the development and operation of deposits of the Urengoy oil, gas and condensate field. The active use of a corrosion inhibitor at the facilities of “Gazprom dobycha Urengoy” LLC led to the impossibility of determining the chemical composition of the analyzed samples using previously used methods. The article discusses methods for determining the mineral composition of formation waters and process fluids as well as describes the problems that arise when determining the component composition associated with the presence of a corrosion inhibitor in the analyzed samples.
