Annotation:

A study has been carried out to assess the possibility of a Na-cationic filter regenerate solution formed during softening of boiler water at thermal power plants use, when preparing water for power plants of the oil and gas complex, as a reagent for removing inorganic phosphorus compounds from waste water. The problems of phosphate appearance in the process of wastewater treatment are considered. Theoretical aspects are analyzed that prove the use of the regenerate as a reagent as well as formation of a number of requirements for its introduction into the water treatment system of wastewater treatment plants. Laboratory testing of the regenerate and waste water mixture was carried out for searching the optimal ratio that is most effective for removing phosphates from waste waters. An economic and environmental comparative assessment of the proposed method with alternative solutions to the problem of wastewater treatment from phosphates is given.
