Accumulation of oil-contaminated wastes generated as a result of oil production, transportation and refining is a serious problem in the modern world. The author of the article proves the fact that a promising approach to solving this problem is the use of biological methods of oil industry wastes treatment. The results of the research work are presented in the course of which 11 isolates of hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms with high bio-emulsifying activity towards oil and oil products, capable of oil hydrocarbons degradation in the temperature range of 4…37 °C in the presence of salts up to 5 % were isolated from oil sludge by the method of accumulation cultures. From these microorganisms three active strains were selected, which, according to the totality of physiological-biochemical and cultural-morphological properties, were referred to Microbacterium, Arthrobacter, Rhodococcus genus. Antagonistic properties of the isolated microorganisms were studied in relation to bacterial strains included in the "ECO" bioproduct. On the basis of the conducted studies, an active enhanced bioproduct capable of oil products degradation of up to 97,7 % compared to the control at low positive temperatures was developed.
