The effect of noise from process pipelines on the assessment of industrial noise at compressor stations

Annotation:

The article presents some results of noise surveys analysis at “Gazprom” PJSC compressor stations with centrifugal superchargers. The results of noise measurements of technological pipelines are presented, the types of compressors are indicated, the noise background of the piping of which is the highest. It is noted that the noise impact on the personnel of all examined compressor stations does not meet the requirements of SanPiN (sanitary regulations and norms) 1.2.3685-21. It is shown that the noise-insulating casings of technological pipelines of centrifugal compressors at almost all compressor stations do not comply with the requirements of GOST R ISO 15665-2007. The effect of pipelines’ noise on the equivalent noise level during an 8-hour working day, which is the only criterion of the acoustic noise impact on station personnel, was analytically assessed. Measures have been proposed that will help to normalize the situation with the use of soundproof pipeline casings and to assess the noise impact on the compressor station staff.
