Annotation:

To combat carbon dioxide corrosion when developing the Achimov deposits of the Urengoy oil and gas condensate field, a film-type corrosion inhibitor is used, which promotes the formation of a stable "formation water-gas condensate" emulsion. The presence of the emulsion in the recycled water disturbs the treatment plant complex operation. The authors of the article search for the most effective method of breaking the emulsion to reduce the hydrocarbon load on wastewater treatment plants, and as a result, compliance with environmental measures for wastewater disposal. The well-known physical and mechanical methods of emulsion destruction are considered, such as emulsion heating and cooling use of electrostatic fields, acoustic waves, magnetic fields as well as the method of emulsion destruction by electrolytes. Based on the results of laboratory studies, the most suitable and industrially applicable method using alkaline earth salts was identified.
