Analysis of geo-ecological factors affecting the choice of oil evacuation method from the Dolginskoye oil field

Annotation:
The authors of the article discuss the Dolginskoye oil field, located in the northern part of the Timan-Pechora Basin on the Arctic shelf of Russia, its significance in Russia's strategic plans for Arctic resources development and the challenges associated with exploration in the harsh Arctic conditions. An overview of natural and technogenic factors influencing the choice of the optimal oil transportation method from the field is presented, along with the economic aspects of the project implementation. Three main options for hydrocarbon transportation are considered, including the use of subsea production complexes and offshore platforms, floating storage units, and underwater pipelines. The geo-ecological factors are assessed based on the degree of their influence on the choice of oil evacuation methods, enabling the identification of the most efficient and safe solutions for the development of the field.
