Prediction of technogenic safety in Tyumen region

Annotation:
The authors of the article present the result of studying technological hazards in oil and gas regions and analyze statistical data on frequency and intensity of accidents affecting the life and health of citizens. The Monte-Carlo method application helped predicting the impact of potentially hazardous facilities in the oil and gas chemistry on the environment and citizens' lives, thus helping to assess the aftereffects and their probable occurrence – important indicators of planning reaction to emergency situations. The most dangerous areas of technological hazards are analyzed, thus providing the possibility of identifying potential threats more precisely and developing appropriate security measures. The statistical data analysis allowed assessing the current situation and revealing the trends that may be useful when taking preventive measures. The results obtained can be used to implement safety and emergency management measures both at hazardous technological production facilities and to justify territorial risks in the oil and gas province.
