Annotation:

Modern technologies of geoinformation monitoring of natural components of the environment involve a transition from manual sampling methods to automated and automatic observation modes. An important place in the implementation of this approach is occupied by methods of automatic interpretation of sources of emergency situations on the territory of the location of oil and gas complex facilities. The purpose of the work is to assess the possibilities of localizing areas of sources of emergency situations using Earth remote sensing systems. The article considers examples of practical testing of geoinformation monitoring methods in problems of localizing sources of emergency situations at oil and gas complex facilities using various Earth remote sensing systems.
