Annotation:
The authors of the article analyzed the processes that provide electrolysis facilities (EF) safety, in particular such as pressure drop control and water treatment. Electrolysis is used in oil refining, to purify industrial wastewater from impurities by converting them into an insoluble form and in the processes of processing that require the hydrogen presence – to obtain it. Violation of the investigated technological modes can cause serious accidents and injuries. The authors pay special attention to the fire and explosion hazards that may occur at electrolysis facilities caused by hydrogen properties as well as safety methods: requirements for protective equipment, grounding, marking of hazardous areas, registration of working permits for high-risk work.
