Annotation:

The change in the impact strength of metal pipes of category B according to GOST 8731-74 and the influence of various characteristics of steel on this indicator have been studied. Tests were carried out to determine the actual level of standardized metal properties from pipe fragments. The microstructure of pipe metal was studied using a METAM LV-41 optical microscope using the SIAMS 800 solid body structure fragment analyzer software module. The degree of contamination of the metal with non-metallic inclusions was assessed according to the Sh method in accordance with GOST 1778-70 for the most contaminated section of the section (maximum score) and for each type of inclusions separately. Possible reasons for the manifestation of embrittlement of 09G2S steel at low temperatures are determined. It has been established that when a load is applied in the direction of the rolling line, the anisotropy of properties is most pronounced, mainly in terms of impact strength and the magnitude of the bend.
