Annotation:

The aim of this article is to evaluate the strength and reliability of the attachment points of laser-welded straight-seam pipes in a tube sheet. The article presents the results of comparative tests of laser-welded and seamless heat-exchange tubes on the holding strength of in the tube sheet using the manufactured samples. The authors of the article have concluded that laser-welded tubes have a high margin of structural strength and ductility, which is not inferior to the heat-exchange seamless pipes.
