The article presents and analyzes the results of reports on ground-based micro-seismic monitoring (MSM) of hydraulic fracturing of a formation (HFF) at a number of wells in the Rechitskoye field in the conditions of unconventional reservoirs of I–III oil packs. The performance indicators of horizontal wells of the Rechitskoye field, drilled for I–III packs and being in operation, were analyzed. Regularities are revealed that affect the direction of fracture development during hydraulic fracturing, and as a result, wells performance. As part of the research, the data on the fractures prevailing orientation were studied during hydraulic fracturing at the Rechitskoye field in the conditions of unconventional reservoirs of I–III oil packs. Based on these data, the direction of maximum and minimum horizontal stress is determined. The results obtained served the basis, for identifying a preferred direction for drilling horizontal wells to improve the hydraulic fracturing efficiency of in order to increase the drainage zone in the reservoir and the oil production rate.
